NIU’s Gaming Association offers paradise for the role players

By Andrew Duff

On a campus as big as NIU, you wouldn’t think it’d be hard to find other players for games like “Dungeons and Dragons,” “Magic: The Gathering,” “White Wolf” or any of the other 100 or so role playing games out there. Problem is, since college class schedules are so random, players often have a hard time finding a game they can get to.

And that’s why NIU’s Gaming Association appeared.

“The purpose of our club is to network, to help gamers meet each other,” President David Healy said.

Though the club is small now, Healy doesn’t mind because the most important thing is getting the word out to help players connect.
