Your issue on Tuesday, Oct. 27 disturbed me. As a graduate of Northern, I have a particular interest.

The fellow that you put on the front page, Steven Cokely, scares me. He is “off the wall,” but I believe the African- American students at NIU somewhat believe him. He preaches revolution, killing whites and other nasty stuff. I wonder if you would spend SA money to get David Duke on campus. It would be fair, a good balance and David Duke doesn’t want to kill anybody. Do you suppose that the liberal professors who pack this university have gone too far? You can only undermine the Judeo-Christian ethic so far; then you’re going for anarchy. Is that what these liberals want?
