ICE policy rescinded
The NIU Foundation has denied at least three FOIA requests since 2016.

A July 6 Immigration and Customs Enforcement policy that would have required international students to take at least one in-person class in the fall to remain in the U.S. was rescinded July 14. NIU will revert back to guidance issued in March, which was used during the mid-Spring semester, according to the NIU International Student and Scholar Services website.
NIU International Student and Scholar Services will provide updates when they receive detailed guidance.
