Five more students now COVID-19 positive

DeKALB — NIU announced Tuesday five additional students have tested positive for the coronavirus, and 19 more students and one employee have recovered from COVID-19, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Tuesday, 58 students and two employees are currently COVID-19 positive. 

The dashboard’s cumulative testing stats show a total of 182 Huskies who have tested positive for the coronavirus, and 122 Huskies have recovered. 

As of Tuesday at 3:45 p.m., NIU is at 12.71% quarantine and isolation use, according to the dashboard. This is a 6.79% decrease from Monday.
