South First Street to be closed Thursday until Nov. 25

DeKALB — South First Street will be closed to through traffic beginning Thursday and will remain closed until Nov. 25, according to a Tuesday press release by the DeKalb County Engineer. 

South First Street will remain closed for the removal and replacement of an eight by eight foot reinforced concrete box culvert, according to the DeKalb County Engineer.

The estimated project cost is about $401,078.63 and will be managed by Company Excavating of Oregon, Illinois.
