DeKALB — NIU announced Friday 18 additional students have tested positive for the coronavirus, and seven recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Friday, 51 students and three employees are currently positive for COVID-19. 

The dashboard’s cumulative testing stats show a total of 210 Huskies who have tested positive for COVID-19, and 156 have recovered. 

As of Friday at 4:30 p.m., NIU is at 7.62% quarantine and isolation use, according to the dashboard. This is the same as Thursday.

Faculty, staff and students can contact the NIU COVID-19 Helpline at 815-753-0444 if they’ve been diagnosed with COVID-19, have COVID-19 symptoms or have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19.
