24 more students and one employee now COVID-19 positive

DeKALB — NIU announced Wednesday 24 more students and one more employee are now COVID-19 positive, and two additional students recover, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. This comes a day after NIU reported its lowest daily increase in COVID-19 cases.

As of Wednesday, 70 students and four employees are currently COVID-19 positive. 

The dashboard’s cumulative testing stats show a total of 251 Huskies who have tested positive for the coronavirus, and 177 Huskies have recovered. 

As of Wednesday at 3:40 p.m., NIU is at 23.9% quarantine and isolation use, according to the dashboard. This is a 4.4% increase from Tuesday.
