10 students and one employee test positive for COVID-19

DeKALB — NIU announced Monday 10 students and one more employee have tested positive for COVID-19, and nine students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Monday, 83 students and three employees are currently positive for the coronavirus.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing stats show a total of 281 Huskies who have tested positive for the coronavirus, and 195 Huskies have recovered.

As of Monday at 3:15 p.m., NIU is at 26.3% quarantine and isolation use. This is a 0.9% increase from Friday.
