DeKALB — NIU announced Wednesday that two additional students and one employee have tested positive for the coronavirus, and five students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Wednesday, 26 students and five employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing stats show a total of 300 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 269 have recovered.

As of Wednesday at 3:40 p.m., NIU is at 10.5% quarantine and isolation use. This is a 1.4% decrease from Tuesday.

COVID-19 Screening Checklist

The NIU COVID-19 Helpline has been replaced by an online checklist. Students, faculty or staff who test positive, are exposed to or experience COVID-19 symptoms are required to complete the checklist. Additional guidance will be given via email upon completion of the checklist.
