Four additional students test positive for COVID-19.

DeKALB — NIU announced Friday that two additional students and no employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and one student has recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Friday, 23 students and three employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 325 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 299 have recovered.

As of  Friday at 3:20 p.m., NIU is at 4.3% quarantine and isolation use. This is a 1.3% decrease from Thursday.

COVID-19 Screen Checklist

The NIU COVID-19 Helpline has been replaced by an online checklist. Students, faculty or staff who test positive, are exposed to or experience COVID-19 symptoms are required to complete the checklist. Additional guidance will be given via email upon completion of the checklist.
