3 more students test positive for COVID-19, 2 students recover

DeKALB — NIU announced Thursday that three additional students and no employee have tested positive for the coronavirus, and two students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Thursday, 48 students and eight employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 505 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 449 have recovered.

As of  Thursday at 3:00 p.m., NIU is at 8%  quarantine and isolation use, this is a 0.6% decrease from Wednesday.
