DeKALB — The men’s basketball’s game against DePaul University will not be played due to COVID-19 concerns. To make up for the missed game, the Huskies will travel 6 p.m. Saturday to the University of Pittsburgh.

DePaul University paused all team activities for its men’s basketball program on Nov.19 due to COVID-19 concerns. Now the Thursday game in the Wintrust Arena against Depaul will not be played.

The Huskies will still play their home game Wednesday against Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. The game will be at the NIU Convocation Center with no fans.

This is the first game of the season that has been cancelled due to the pandemic.
