DeKALB — NIU announced Friday that two additional students and no employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and two students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Friday, 11 students and five employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 603 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 587 have recovered.

As of  Friday at 3:00 p.m., NIU is at 0%  quarantine and isolation use, the same as Thursday.

COVID-19 Screen Checklist

The NIU COVID-19 Helpline has been replaced by an online checklist. Students, faculty or staff who test positive, are exposed to or experience COVID-19 symptoms are required to complete the checklist. Additional guidance will be given via email upon completion of the checklist.
