DeKALB — For the second time in this week, the women’s basketball team’s upcoming Saturday game has been postponed, according to a Thursday NIU Athletics news release.

The Kent State University Golden Flashes are experiencing roster issues related to COVID-19 and contact tracing, which led to the postponement of the game at the NIU Convocation Center.

The game will be rescheduled at a later date, according to a Thursday Mid-American Conference news release.

Wednesday’s game against the Ball State University Cardinals was postponed Monday. NIU still played Wednesday, facing the University of Toledo Rockets instead, and falling 67-62 in Toledo, OH. The Huskies were previously on a four-game win streak.
