Fourteen additional students and one employee has tested positive for the coronavirus.

DeKALB — NIU announced Friday that 14 additional students and one employee has tested positive for the coronavirus, and four students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Friday, 34 students and five employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 742 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 703 have recovered.

As of Friday at 3 p.m., NIU is at a 4.9% quarantine and isolation use, the same as Wednesday.

What to do if you test positive

Faculty, staff and students are to complete the COVID-19 Checklist if diagnosed with COVID-19, have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19.
