The DeKalb County Health Department announced 10 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the total number to 8,662.

DeKALB — NIU announced Friday that three additional students and one employee has tested positive for the coronavirus, and one student has recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Friday, 35 students and six employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 765 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 724 have recovered.

As of Friday at 3 p.m., NIU is at a 3.1% quarantine and isolation use, the same as Thursday. 

What to do if you test positive

Faculty, staff and students are to complete the COVID-19 Checklist if diagnosed with COVID-19, have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19.
