Drive-thru food pantry accepting online orders

DeKALB– The “Feed My Sheep Food Pantry” at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1915 N. 1st St., is now accepting online orders, according to the church’s website. The main purpose of the food pantry is to supply food for the needy, as well as occasionally offer some household goods, clothing and other items. 

To sign up for an online pick-up simply fill out their online form; select the desired items and then pick it up during open pantry hours.

“Our pantry is open for drive-thru pick-ups on Tuesdays from 3 to 5 p.m. and Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.” said Mack Patrick, Bethlehem Lutheran Church pastor and one of the leaders of the food pantry said. “You are also welcome to come and get a pre-packed box of food in person if you are unable to order online as well.” 

To make an online order for a Tuesday pick up, the form will open at 5 p.m. Thursdays and will close 5 p.m. Sundays.

For a Thursday pick up, the form will open at 9 a.m Mondays. and will close at 9 a.m. Wednesdays.

“Anyone is welcome to utilize our food pantry, we do not have any requirements and you are welcome to come each pantry day.” Mack Said.
