1 additional student tests positive for COVID-19

DeKALB — NIU announced Friday that one student and no employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and no students or employees have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Friday, six students and four employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 818 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 808 have recovered.

As of Friday at 3 p.m., NIU is at a 1.2% quarantine and isolation use, same as Thursday.

What to do if you test positive

Faculty, staff and students are to complete the COVID-19 Checklist if diagnosed with COVID-19, have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19.
