DeKALB — Women’s tennis suffered a devastating 6-1 loss against the Western Michigan University Broncos Sunday at the West Hills Athletic Club in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

First-year Diana Lukyanova gave the Huskies their lone win taking the last two sets 6-4 and 7-6 after losing the first set 1-6. Lukyanova extends her winning streak to 16 matches on the season.

Senior Maria Potsi and first-year Anastasia Rakita both took their match to a third set, but they both unfortunately dropped their third set to drop the match.

April brings the Huskies the next match as they return to the courts 3:30 p.m. Thursday when they  host Roosevelt University at the Chick Evans Field House in DeKalb.
