6 additional students test positive for COVID-19

DeKALB — NIU announced Thursday that six students and no employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and one student has recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Thursday, 23 students and one employee are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 837 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 813 have recovered.

As of Thursday at 3 p.m., NIU is at a 7.4% quarantine and isolation use, a 1.9% increase from Wednesday.
