On Saturday, there will be live music by acoustic pop artist Steve McClanahan from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and raffles for attendees to participate in.

Blumen Gardens will also host its Artist + Maker Market on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., where local artists will be located throughout the garden with artwork available for purchase. This will be the last of four Artist + Maker Markets that were previously held over the summer. The family-friendly event will also have the Northern Illinois Raptor Rehab and Education organization from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, where they will bring rehabilitated birds such as hawks and owls and will be talking about the animals as well as their rescue, Barczak said.

Blumen Gardens hads plants, gardening supplies, gardening classes and workshops and more, according to the Blumen Gardens website.

Blumen Gardens will be at the Vintage Shop Hop Oct. 1 and  2. They will also be at the Sycamore Witches Night Out event held on Oct. 21. The Blumen Gardens’ biggest event that they traditionally hold every year is their Holiday Open House Nov. 11-14.

“I think it is significant for us just to have a fun gathering in the garden center. We always love having events so that we can, you know, have fun with the community and our customers,” Barczak said.
