The cheapest gas prices in the state reported Sunday at $3.17/g, while the most expensive was $4.49/g with a difference of $1.32/g.

DeKALB As of Nov. 2, gas prices in Illinois are averaging  $3.49 per gallon, according to GasBuddy’s daily surveys of 4,378 stations in Illinois. This is the steady price from last week’s average. Gas prices in Illinois are 0.2 cents per gallon higher from a month ago and stand $1.30 per gallon higher than a year ago in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The cheapest station in Illinois is priced at $3.05 per gallon and the most expensive at $3.99 per gallon.

Nationally, the average gas price is $3.39 per gallon up from $2.12 per gallon this time last year.
