DeKALB – Fatty’s Pub and Grille will host its annual craft beer expo Saturday, offering over 50 beers for attendees to sample. 

The event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Novak room of Fatty’s Pub & Grille,1312 W. Lincoln Highway. Beer representatives will be present to guide the tasting, and a small sampling of whiskeys featuring single barrel and special cask whiskeys will be offered to sample. 

A ticket to the expo includes an appetizer buffet and a sampling glass that you get to keep, according to the website.  Ticket holders will be able to sample 15 craft beers. There is a special early bird offer where tickets are $20 if purchased in advance. Otherwise, tickets will be $25 at the door. However, it is important to purchase tickets early or as soon as possible to have a better chance of entry. You must be 21 or older. 

Featured vendors include Goose Island, which is a Chicago staple founded in 1988, Sun Crusher Revolution Brewing, Sam Adams brewing company and Noon Whistle Brewing company, according to the website

“We missed having it last year, so we’re happy to have it back, and we’d like to do it twice a year,” said Jeff Dobie, owner of Fatty’s.
