7 additional students, 2 employees test positive for COVID-19

DeKALB — NIU announced Monday that seven additional students and two employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. Fifteen students have recovered. As of Friday, 31 students and five employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 269 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 233 have recovered since Aug. 19.

What to do if you test positive

Faculty, staff and students are to complete the COVID-19 Checklist if diagnosed with COVID-19, have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19.
