We’re almost back for the spring semester! Capricorn season occurring along with the new year means that our goals want to be clearly defined at this time. We may feel the need to work harder or take life more seriously. Whatever is truthful for you, remember to always move at your own pace.
Also, rest in peace to the Queen of Capricorns, Betty White.
Aries (Mar. 21 to Apr. 19)
You’ve got your head in the game. You’re the cardinal fire sign, which gives you natural potential to be the ultimate playmaker. This doesn’t mean it is your duty to be that person all the time, even if you feel immense outside obligation. Do only what you can, and rest when you need to. You are worth more than your labor.
Taurus (Apr. 20 to May 20)
Keep holding on. Life likely feels too chaotic to handle right now. Sensual and slow-moving Venus — your ruling planet — has been retrograde since mid-December. By the end of January it will go direct again. Stick it out for just one month more, and suddenly the skies will metaphorically clear for you, bringing you optimism and peace.
Gemini (May 21 to Jun. 20)
Dig deeper. You have a lot of passion for your work, which causes many to view you as intense, but they simply don’t understand it from the unique way that you come at it. Do not let other people’s contempt or fear of you hold you down. You know you have more to give, so why not allow extra wind to flow into your sails?
Cancer (Jun. 21 to Jul. 22)
Allow for change to happen. Nobody likes change, but it can be more difficult for people like you. This is nothing to be ashamed of. You’re on the right track, but if you can’t let yourself grow and learn from the past, you’ll be stuck in a detrimental loop. Try out a new method of relaxation to help encourage your own growth and transformation.
Leo (Jul. 23 to Aug. 22)
Keep going with the flow. A lucky streak may have hit you a while back, but if not, prepare for one by doing exactly what you’ve been doing. As with anything I suggest, don’t engage in harmful habits if you can help it; on the whole though, you’re doing great. Keep it up, and encourage more mindfulness into your daily routine.
Virgo (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22)
You crave stability. Sometimes, though, the easiest way to find it is to first engage in your wild or reckless side, so that you can more easily recognize the comforts of dependence once you return from your escapades. Don’t be scared of change. If you let it, change can push you into achieving greater or experiencing fuller.
Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22)
Are you neglecting your hobbies? Perhaps you’re in a depressed slump, or perhaps you’re burnt out from work. Whatever has been preventing you from enjoying life, find it and cast it out! Then, pick up an old (or new) hobby to reinvigorate yourself. You’re not falling behind, nor are you too far ahead. You’re exactly where you need to be.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21)
Reject the notion of “awkward.” Whether you’re in a talking phase with a potential S.O. or you just find yourself making small talk with strangers more than usual, this is a gentle reminder to be yourself. You likely have a lot of natural charisma, but you’ve recently shied away from using it. Self-reflect as to why this is, then go and wow your crowds!
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21)
Commit to your responsibilities. The planet Mars is in your sign for a few more weeks, which should make it easier for you to initiate and communicate. Take this time to get a jumpstart on your work and side projects. Even if you lack the energy to immediately follow through on them, getting ahead before you can fall behind will benefit you greatly.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19)
Happy birth season! With the sun and the moon in your sign right now, everything may seem particularly intense or unfulfilling. You may feel pressured to do more or be more productive. If doing or producing more is your happy place, then absolutely go for it, but don’t drown yourself in unnecessary stress. That would be counterproductive.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18)
Your gut instincts are correct. If you’re having relationship troubles, you know what’s gone wrong; if you feel bad about yourself, you know there’s something you need to improve on. You are incredibly self-aware, and you know how to fix things. The only way to go now is forward, which you are wholly and completely capable of doing.
Pisces (Feb. 19 to Mar. 20)
Do you feel lonely? You may be missing friends or family right now, and you’re not the only one. Reach out, even if you don’t know the right words to say. They’ll appreciate the connection, and it will be made easier by having Jupiter, the planet of abundance and wisdom, in your sign for the foreseeable future.
