Baseball

The Huskies baseball team will look to finally add a win to their season record as they take on their first Mid-American Conference opponent this weekend at Ohio University.

Friday, March 11

NIU will play two games in a doubleheader at noon and 3 p.m. Friday in Athens, Ohio.

Sunday, March 13

After a break on Saturday, the second day of the series against the Bobcats will feature another doubleheader at noon and 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Gymnastics

The NIU gymnastics team will compete in their final regular meet of the season prior to the Mid-American Conference Championship on March 19.

Sunday, March 13

The Huskies will travel to Ypsilanti, Michigan, for a meet at Eastern Michigan University, which starts at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Men’s Tennis

The NIU men’s tennis team will host two days of matches this weekend against Mid-American Conference opponents at Boylan Tennis Center in Rockford, Illinois.

Friday, March 11

The Huskies will take to the court at noon on Friday to compete with the University of Toledo.

Sunday, March 13

NIU will return to Rockford later in the weekend to face off against Ball State University at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Softball

Due to weather conditions, NIU’s weekend game schedule for the Southern Illinois University Tournament in Carbondale, Illinois, was altered and shortened to three matchups.

Sunday, March 13

NIU will play one game at 11:30 a.m. Sunday against Eastern Illinois University.

Monday, March 14

The tournament will push into NIU’s spring break as the softball team faces off against Eastern Illinois University again at 10 a.m. on Monday. The Huskies will then have a matchup against Southern Illinois University Edwardsville at 12:15 p.m.
