Zeus is the Tails Pet of the Week for April 25

Zeus is a very energetic dog who wants nothing but fun and action in his life. As Tails Humane Society’s Pet of the Week, Zeus has a lot to offer to any family that takes him in. He’s very active and loves the outdoors with long hikes and short walks being essential for him. Zeus is a massive fan of cuddling as well.

Given that he’s two years old, Zeus’ adoption fee has been reduced. The best environment for Zeus would be a house with a lot of room because of his size. A large backyard would be perfect for Zeus to run around in.

He’s house-trained and crate-trained and he can be quite friendly with other dogs. However, his energy can be a bit much for other pets to handle, so it’s best to make sure that other animals in the household can get along with Zeus. A household with older children is preferred since Zeus is a stronger dog. Zeus also responds to some commands including “down,” “sit,” “wait” and “go.”

Anyone interested in adopting can visit Tails Humane Society on 2250 Barber Greene Rd. Weekly hours are 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
