Fall Fashion Preview

By Sabreena Saleem | July 27, 2015

Stores have already begun clearing out summer clothing and stocking shelves with fall’s latest trends.

As much as we love baring it all in the summer, expressing ourselves through layering in the fall is just as fun. This fall’s trends, which include sassy accessories and fun patterns like tartan, make expressing yourself a piece of cake.

Simply plaid

Plaid and tartan are back. Whether it’s a trench, boots or cool accessory, plaid is a great way to spice up an otherwise simple outfit. Plaid coats are instantly classy and effortlessly chic.

Short skirts and patterned tights

Sorry, mom and dad, but minis and micro-mini skirts will be taking over this fall. Luckily, sheer tights with abstract patterns will also flood the fashion scene.

Flat ankle boots

Platforms will no longer be essential to your fall wardrobe. A latter, more simple silhouette has taken over and our ankles will surely be thanking us.

Fun accessories

Thank Amal Clooney’s Golden Globe look for the return of fashionable gloves. Whether you’re into lace or leather, try finishing of your look with a pair of elbow- or wrist-length statement gloves.
