DeKALB — The men’s basketball team headed to the west coast for the first time since 1997 for a two-game California swing, but they won’t be bringing back an extension of their six-game winning streak with them.
DeKALB — Turnovers and an inability to score in opportune situations Thursday led to the demise of the women’s basketball team. NIU lost 78-65 to the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee Panthers, falling to 3-5 on the season.

DeKALB — On a snowy Halloween afternoon, the women’s soccer team had one last chance to close the season on a high note, putting everything out on the field.
DeKALB — Not many people can say they’ve lived in five states and three countries by the time they were 18 years old. Even fewer can say they played hockey while doing so.
DeKALB — The men’s basketball team has been having a historic run the past couple weeks, winning six consecutive games after starting the season 0-2. This marks the longest win streak since the 2015-16 season, when the Huskies won seven straight games between Dec. 22, 2015 and Jan. 12, 2016.
