Sophomore anthropology major John Needham said he knows someone who left NIU since last semester for financial reasons. Needham said retention would be improved if financial aid was more available to upperclassmen.

Eboo Patel discussed his experience as an interfaith leader and how students can get involved in the Interfaith Youth Care Tuesday night in the Carl Sandburg Auditorium.

DeKalb Mayor John Rey visited the Skyroom Sunday during the Student Association's Senate meeting to speak to members of SA. Rey said the city and NIU are looking to bridge gaps by communicating with city departments and officials and the student body, and by reaching out to student groups and organizations.
