Magenta rhododendrons, pink petunias, orange anemone flowers, red columbine, blue gentians, hyacinth and yellow carnations sprout from a cartoon Earth under the words: “Mother Earth arranges a Victorian bouquet for America, November 5, 2024.” During the Victorian era, flowers were used to express hidden meaning; the flowers in Mother Earth’s bouquet symbolize America’s failure to protect her by allowing another Trump administration to occur. Rhododendrons express a warning, petunias symbolize hatred and resentment, orange anemone flowers symbolize withered hopes and desertion, blue gentians express the message ‘you are unjust,’ red columbine symbolizes anxiety, hyacinths symbolize sorrow and yellow carnations symbolize disappointment and foolishness.
