1. All students are welcome to Chai Chat 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday in Campus Life Building, Room 100. There will be free tea and international snacks.

2. Second-year NIU Law students are invited to a brief pancake breakfast 8 to 11 a.m. Friday in Swen Parson Thurgood Marshall Gallery.

3. Students can enjoy free caramel apples 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday in the Holmes Student Center Promenade Lounge.

Richard Schmack spoke in a Stevenson smart classroom Wednesday evening. Schmack is running for DeKalb County states attorney this year, and took the opportunity to explain the roles of the position and why he feels he is the proper candidate.
