DeKALB – The DeKalb Area Women’s Center will be hosting its annual holiday shopping fair with live music, shopping opportunities from local vendors, and refreshments.
The event is from 6 p.m to 9 p.m Dec. 1 and 9 a.m to 4 p.m Dec. 2 at Majakka Hall, 1021 State St.
According to a press release from the DeKalb Area Women’s Center, visitors can “take advantage of a one-stop opportunity to buy great gifts and creative crafts (both practical and decorative) while shopping small and local in a 106 year old historic building.”
The DeKalb Area Women’s Center is a non-profit organization organized in 1993 to support initiatives that encourage and empower women. The organization also works towards eliminating sexism and discrimination against women.
