Ethan Gonzales is the sports editor and a podcast host for the Northern Star. He is a senior transfer student at NIU majoring in sport management. He covers NIU’s women’s soccer and men’s basketball teams.
Skyler Kisellus, Former Senior Sports Reporter
Skyler Kisellus is a senior majoring in sport management in the College of Education. Despite hailing from a faraway land known as “Florida,” he’s a diehard Chicago sports fan and staunch Jay Cutler defender. Outside of the Star, you can usually find Skyler playing Sudoku puzzles, watching Formula 1 or just throwing a football around.
Harrison Linden, Ad Designer
Harrison Linden is the ad designer for the Northern’s Star advertising department. He’s a third-year NIU student pursuing a degree in graphic design. His title might have “ad” in it, but, in reality, he does anything graphic design related at the Northern Star. He likes to work in silence with some experimental music playing, all while he contemplates how to fit all the text into the graphics he makes.
