DeKALB — Steven Jamrog, 21, a Sycamore CUSD 427 staff member was arrested on Feb. 27 for six counts of aggravated battery and is under suspicion of inappropriately touching students.
Sycamore Police launched an investigation on Feb. 11 from a report that Jamrog had touched a victim over the age of 13 in an uncomfortable manner. The victim reported that other students had experienced similar behaviors from the defendant.
The investigation concluded with additional victims similarly reporting being inappropriately touched by Jamrog inside district buildings on multiple occasions during the fall 2023.
Jamrog has since been released with a notice to appear in court.
