The upbeat two-and-a-half year old cat named H.E.R.’s beaming personality earned her this week’s Tails’ Pet of the Week. Always ready for cuddles, rubbing her head on people’s hands, faces and arms is H.E.R.’s favorite thing to do.

H.E.R.’s happy and “winning personality” won over the heart’s of Tails’ employees and will do the same to you if you adopt H.E.R.

H.E.R. is housetrained, spayed, neutered and although she is FIV positive, she is not a risk to owners.

FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and attacks the cat’s immune system, leaving the cat more susceptible to other infections. FIV can only be contracted by other felines and can’t be transmitted to humans.

If you are interested in adopting H.E.R. go to Tails Humane Society, located at 2250 Barber Greene Rd. Tails is open 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the week and 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
