The NIU Center for Governmental Studies will seek input from the community regarding economic development through two 90-minute sessions.

The sessions, which are open to the public, are meant to seek community input about county-wide economic development priorities. Each session will feature a presentation by the NIU Center for Governmental Studies on “The State of DeKalb County’s Economy.”

NIU researchers will meet with community leaders to assess their needs after gathering information from the sessions, according to an NIU Today news release.

The sessions will take place 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Nov. 17 at the DeKalb County Farm Bureau, 1350 W. Prairie Drive in Sycamore.
