NIU, Kishwaukee College leaders to speak about DeKalb county businesses

The final registration date for people interested in hearing community leaders speak about the impact of NIU and Kishwaukee College on DeKalb County businesses is noon Monday.

Jennifer Groce, NIU director of Community Affairs, and Kishwaukee College President Tom Choice will speak at the event. The event is sponsored by the DeKalb County Economic Development Corporation and is Wednesday at the DeKalb County Farm Bureau, 1350 W. Prairie Drive in Sycamore.

The meeting will begin with a luncheon at 11:15 a.m. Groce and Choice will speak at noon about the resources their respective schools can provide to local businesses.

For members of the DeKalb County Economic Development Corporation, admission is $35. For nonmembers, admission is $45. Go to DCEDC.org to register.
