Friday

A subject was found to have unlawfully consumed alcohol. The subject was referred to the NIU Judicial Office.

Two individuals were found on the ground fighting. After interviewing all involved individuals, Dwayne L. Donaldson, 19, was placed under arrest. He was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol and battery. He was transported to the NIU Police Department, where he was booked and later released after posting bond.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no headlights when required. The driver, Thomas J. Stehlik, 20, was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and was placed under arrest. Stehlik was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol and given an administrative sanction for DUI-Zero Tolerance. He was transported to the NIU Police Department, were he was booked and later released on a I-bond.

A battery was reported between two individuals. Officers responded and interviewed all parties involved. The two individuals in this case were determined to be mutual combatants and officers decided to refer this case to the University Judicial Office.
