DeKALB – Fatty’s, 1312 West Lincoln Highway, will be kicking off their Acoustic Music Series with a performance by Back Country Roads Friday from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.

The band, a six-piece from Sycamore, IL, performs covers of many different Top 40 and classic country songs, as well as songs from other genres arranged to fit their country sound. The band has performed at Country Thunder for the past five years, according to their website. 

There will be no cover charge for the show. Jack Daniel’s will be on special for $4, and people can go early to partake in Fatty’s Friday Fish Fry, according to Fatty’s Facebook page.
