Zach Mueller is a sophomore from Lockport, Illinois, majoring in mechatronics engineering. He joined the Northern Star in spring 2026 after serving as a DJ for Mako Radio at Florida’s Nova Southeastern University. When not writing for the Star, Zach spends his time on the guitar, gaming on titles like “Minecraft” and “Skate 3,” playing tennis and watching horror movies — especially on Cheap Ticket Tuesdays.
