NIU is hosting a First Impressions Networking Night from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Holmes Student Center. Alumni and students will have the opportunity to practice their networking and communication skills during this event.

Participants will complete prompts that simulate networking opportunities and then receive constructive feedback based on their answers to help them in the future. 

“Recent student participants have shared that they found the event very useful in building their confidence and wish they would have participated in something like this sooner,” according to the press release. 

This event provides students with the opportunity to improve confidence and skills in a networking environment. Refreshments will be provided. Students who wish to attend must pre-register via their Huskies Get Hired student account.
