DeKALB – The NIU Art Museum will host a “Stories From My Childhood” exhibit Nov. 29 through Dec. 17 and Jan. 10, 2023 through Feb. 17, 2023.
“Stories From My Childhood” is made up of pieces made by artists asked to depict transformative events in their childhood exploring the darkness, humor or quirkiness seen through the eyes of a child, according to the NIU Art Museum.

Exhibitions are free and open to the public. The exhibit explores mature themes that may not be suitable for all audiences.

There will be a participatory reading and recital on childhood perspectives and experiences from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Jan 26, 2023 in Altgeld Hall 125. Registration will be required.
