Watch a horror or comedy movie this weekend while studying for finals

With Thanksgiving break over and finals week coming up take some time this weekend to relax in between studying with these recommendations ranging from horror to adventure.
“SMILE” (PARAMOUNT+)
“Smile” came out in theaters in September but now is on Paramount+ for subscribers to watch. This film was a trending topic for a while once it was released so if you haven’t seen it now is the chance.
“Smile” is a horror film starring Sosie Bacon, Caitlin Stasey, Kyle Gallner and Jessie T. Usher who is also known for his role as A-train on the TV show “The Boys.” The film is about Dr. Rose Cotter, played by Bacon, who experiences a traumatic event with a patient that leads her to start experiencing supernatural events that can not be explained. In order to overcome this terror she must confront her past in order to survive her new reality.
“SPIRITED” (APPLE TV+)
With the holidays coming up it is the perfect time for a movie like “Spirited” that stars two of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
“Spirited” is a musical that is a modern retelling of Charles Dickens’s 1843 story “A Christmas Carol” and has a star-studded cast with names such as Will Ferrell, Ryan Reynolds, Octavia Spencer and Tracy Morgan. The film is sure to get you in the holiday spirit and leave you smiling as well as laughing.
“SLUMBERLAND” (Netflix)
Netflix recently released “Slumberland” which is a movie that you can watch with your whole family over the weekend to spend quality time together.
The film stars Marlow Barkley and Jason Momoa who is well-known for his role as Aquaman. The movie is about a young girl named Nemo, played by Barkley, who discovers a secret map to the dreamworld of slumberland that she hopes will lead her to her late father. With the help of an outlaw, played by Momoa, she hopes to travel her way through dreams and nightmares.
