It can be hard to keep up with the constant media coming out. Instead of trying to search through the constant barrage of content, here are a few great pieces of media coming out next week.

Kristen Mei Chase “A Thousand Miles to Graceland”

Kristen Mei Chase, of the blog and book “Mominatrix” fame, is releasing her first novel on Jan. 24. The book details the adventures of Grace Johnson after her husband ends their marriage. Featuring a road trip from El Paso to Memphis with her mother, the novel focuses on their tenuous relationship and how a road trip (and Elvis) may have the possibility to heal generational bonds.

Teen Wolf: The Movie

Tyler Posey and Crystal Reed reprise their roles in the teen classic “Teen Wolf” for a follow-up of the seminal classic 2010s television show of the same name. The film will not have a theatrical release; instead, it will be released exclusively on Paramount+ on Jan. 26. The movie will follow Scott McCall, the main character from the original show, as he finds new trouble in Beacon Hills. For fans of the show, the movie should be a good hit of nostalgia.

Billie Eilish Live at the O2 (Extended Cut)

In a one-night-only event, pop sensation Billie Eilish’s performance at the O2 arena in London is being shown in theaters on Jan. 27. The extended cut of the performance features 27 songs and has a runtime of 105 minutes. Before the extended cut was made, the performance was live streamed as a part of Apple Music Live. The concert was a part of the tour following Eilish’s Grammy nominated album “Happier Than Ever.” The film was directed by Sam Wrench, who has done work with the VMAs and “American Idol.”

Sam Smith “Gloria” Following the success of their single “Unholy,” Sam Smith’s new album “Gloria” is gaining hype in advance of its upcoming release on Jan. 27. The album features 13 songs including collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Kim Petras and Jessie Reyez. “Gloria” is Smith’s first album since the release of their third album “Love Goes” in 2020. On Jan. 11, the lead promotional single “Gimme” was released. With adventurous synth riffs and repetitive vocals, “Gimme” sets the bar for the work to come on “Gloria.”
