Next week has quite a few movies and TV shows coming out, each suited for viewers with different tastes. 

“The Mandalorian” season 3

Everyone’s favorite space duo is coming back on March 1 after nearly three years of patiently waiting for their return. Season three of “The Mandalorian” is set to follow the Mandalorian “Mando” (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu as they travel to Mandalore. 

Mandalore is the home of the Mandalorians, who are a race of warrior people. Mando must face his past and testify for his crimes, committed by breaking Mandalorian codes. The new season will take place right after the events of “The Book of Boba Fett,” which featured a surprise appearance by  Mando and Grogu in the last three episodes of the show. 

The Mandalorian will have a new mission this season and, of course, his most trusted companion Grogu will tag along. “The Mandalorian” season 3 will premiere exclusively on Disney +. 

“Daisy Jones & The Six”

Based on the young adult novel of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid, a new show is coming  to Amazon Prime Video on March 3. The show takes place in the 1970s and follows the success and music-making process of singer Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) and the band The Six, led by musician Billy Dunne (Sam Clafin).

The 10-episode series follows the rise and fall of this fictional band in the rock-and-roll era. The world has long wondered why Daisy Jones & The Six suddenly broke apart, especially when they were so popular. Decades later, the band finally reveals what actually happened all those years ago. 

The show will premiere its first three episodes on March 3, while the rest will follow on a weekly basis. 

“Creed III”

Michael B. Jordan returns to the boxing world in the third installment of the “Creed” franchise on March 3. “Creed III” will follow famed boxer Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) as he learns his former friend Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors) wants a shot at fighting him in the ring. 

Once a boxing prodigy, Anderson resurfaces in the boxing world after serving time in prison. Tension builds quickly, as Anderson has something that Creed doesn’t: nothing to lose. Creed will have to put his future, family and friends at risk for a shot at winning this suspenseful and action-packed fight. “Creed III” will be available to watch in theaters or through the Roku streaming platform.

“Children of the Corn”

Murderous children take over their small Nebraska town in a new adaptation of the horror film “Children of the Corn.” Based on the story of the same name by legendary author Stephen King, this remake tells the story of a 12-year-old girl (Kate Moyer) possessed by an evil spirit who is intent on killing every adult. The girl quickly rounds up other children of the town to create a cult who worships the evil spirit, referred to as “He Who Walks Behind The Rows.” 

This version is a remake of the 1984 film of the same name which followed a young couple who ended up getting stuck in a small Nebraska town overrun by possessed children. “Children of the Corn” hits theaters on March 3, but viewers will be able to stream the horror movie on Shudder on March 21.
