The Office for Undocumented Student Support and DREAM Action NIU will be hosting training to teach students and staff how to be an ally to undocumented students.

Training will include learning about legislative, educational and economic challenges that undocumented students face and the supportive resources through NIU that can aid those individuals.

DREAM Action NIU is a student-led organization that advocates awareness on issues for undocumented students while the Office for Undocumented Student Support provides information and forms of support through financial and legal advocacy.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, March 7 at the Holmes Student Center Regency Room with registration required.
