The NIU baseball team (5-18, 2-7 MAC) will travel to Chicago to take on the University of Illinois Chicago (9-11) on Tuesday. The Huskies will then return to DeKalb for their second home series of the season against Central Michigan University (13-10, 4-2 MAC) over the weekend.

The NIU softball team (14-14, 5-3 MAC) will travel to Kent, Ohio to take on Kent State University (8-19, 3-4 MAC) in a three-game series Friday and Saturday. The Huskies prepare to start a new winning streak after Ball State University ended their four-game winning streak on Tuesday.

MEN’S TENNIS

Friday, April 7: vs. University of Toledo, 1 p.m.

Sunday, April 9: vs. Ball State University, 1 p.m.

NIU men’s tennis (11-6) will host the University of Toledo (11-5) Friday, April 7 at 1 p.m. The Huskies will then host Ball State University (10-7) Sunday, April 9 at 1 p.m. Both of these matches will take place in Nelson Tennis Center at Chick Evans Field House.

WOMEN’S TENNIS

Friday, April 7: at Eastern Michigan University, 12 p.m.

Ypsilanti, MI. / The Chippewa Club

NIU women’s tennis travels to Ypsilanti to take on Eastern Michigan University (5-4) on Friday, April 7 at noon. The event will take place at the Chippewa Club.

TRACK AND FIELD

Saturday, April 8: at the University of Illinois 

Urbana-Champaign, Illinois / Demirjian Park

NIU women’s track and field will travel to Urbana-Champaign, Illinois for the Fighting Illini Challenge on Saturday. This will be the Huskies third invitational of the outdoor season and their second straight against an Illinois state school, as they traveled to Normal, Illinois last week for the Redbird Invitational against Illinois State University. 

WOMEN’S GOLF 

Monday, April 3 to Tuesday, April 4: at Kennesaw State University

Kennesaw, Georgia / Pinetree Country Club

NIU women’s golf heads to Kennesaw, Ga. to compete in the Pinetree Collegiate hosted by Kennesaw State University. The tournament is an all day event starting on April 3 and ending on April 4. The Huskies last tournament was the Clover Cup, where they tied for 10th place out of 14 teams. Junior Jasmine Ly finishing tied for 20th place individually. NIU looks to bounce back as the team closes in on the MAC conference championship.
