The Egyptian Theatre welcomes Wayland and Back Country Roads next Friday

Wayland and Back Country Roads will take the stage next Friday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Egyptian Theater in DeKalb.

Wayland is a crossover country rock band that is known for their three-part harmonies and their sound giving name to “working class music”. The band’s name hails from the city of Wayland in Michigan but the members have toured independently for seven years at sold out venues all over the Midwest. 

Wayland has played headliners for Shinedown and Lifehouse along with national fairs, building relationships with radio stations and television with its music.

The special guest will be Back Country Roads, the six-piece band playing top country hits and 90’s favorites mixed with original songs. The country band based out of Northern Illinois has played events at the Country Thunder and Wisconsin State Fair. It has opened for national acts including David Lee Murphy, Easton Corbin and Granger Smith.
