NIU football (5-6, 4-3 MAC) plays its final regular season game of the year Saturday against Kent State University (1-10, 0-7 MAC). The Huskies are coming off a dominant 24-0 win over Western Michigan University on senior night last week to keep their hopes of bowl eligibility alive. The Golden Flashes come into Saturday’s game on an eight game losing streak, sitting in last place in the MAC. This is a win-and-in game for the Huskies, meaning if they win, they will earn a spot in a bowl game.

NIU men’s basketball (4-1) and its four game winning streak travels on Saturday to Chicago to take on DePaul University (1-3). After defeating the Illinois Institute of Technology at home and winning both of their games in the Capitol Challenge in Atlanta, Georgia, last week, the Huskies will look for their fifth consecutive victory Saturday. Junior guard David Coit’s 18.2 points per game ranks tied for second place in the MAC.

Following a 6-point loss to the University of Southern Indiana, NIU women’s basketball returns home at 6 p.m. Tuesday against Lindenwood University for its first home game of the regular season.
The Huskies’ will then start the November Clasico at 10 a.m. Friday against Radford University. At 10 a.m. Saturday, the Huskies will close the tournament against Indiana State University. All November Clasico games will be played in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
